JooGa Chicken opened its first location with just five tables and a dream. Founded by the Jooga family, the restaurant quickly gained a loyal following thanks to its signature crispy chicken recipe and welcoming atmosphere. Word spread fast, and within months, queues stretched out the door every evening.
The founding philosophy was simple: use the best ingredients, cook with love, and treat every guest like family. That spirit has never changed, and it remains the heart of everything we do today.
2002: Expanding the Menu
Two years in, we introduced our full lunch and dinner menu, adding grilled dishes, soups, and seasonal specials. Our head chef brought new techniques and global influences while keeping the soul of our cooking firmly rooted in tradition.
Customer feedback shaped every new addition. We listened, we experimented, and we delivered. The expanded menu doubled our daily covers and cemented our reputation as a destination restaurant.
2004: First Culinary Award
JooGa Chicken received its first regional culinary award for Best Casual Dining Experience. The recognition was a proud moment for the entire team and a validation of the hard work poured into every plate.
We used the momentum to invest in our kitchen, upgrade our equipment, and bring on two additional master chefs to help us maintain quality as demand continued to grow.
2008: Second Location Opens
With a thriving customer base and a strong brand identity, we opened our second restaurant location. The new venue featured a larger dining room, a private events space, and a dedicated takeaway counter to serve the growing demand for our food.
Both locations maintained the same high standards, the same recipes, and the same commitment to hospitality that made the original so special.
2012: Online Ordering Launches
We embraced technology and launched our online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy JooGa Chicken from the comfort of their homes. Delivery orders quickly became a significant part of our business.
Our delivery team was trained to the same standards as our front-of-house staff — friendly, punctual, and proud to represent the JooGa Chicken name.
2016: 15 Years of Flavour
Celebrating 15 years in business, JooGa Chicken hosted a community feast to thank the thousands of loyal customers who had supported us from the very beginning. It was a day of great food, live music, and heartfelt gratitude.
